Compassion Experience

The Compassion Experience is coming to Grace Pointe Church on Friday, August 11th through Monday, August 14th.

What is The Compassion Experience?

This free event features an interactive journey through the true stories of children living in developing countries like the Philippines, Kenya, Uganda and the Dominican Republic.

In over 2,000 square feet of interactive exhibit space, visitors will step inside homes, markets and schools — from around the world — without ever getting on a plane. Each child’s story starts in poverty but ends in hope.

This is a great time to invite your neighbors, friends and family to experience life in another country.  To reserve  a time for you and your guests, visit https://cts.compassion.com/events/866

For this to be a success we will need your help.  Over the course of the four days, we’ll need over 40 volunteers to work various shifts.  You can check out the available shifts by going to https://cts.compassion.com/volunteer.php?l=866.

We’ll also need some help for setup and teardown.  Setup will be Thursday morning, August 10th from 8am-noon. Teardown will start at 6pm on Monday, August 14th.  If you are available and would like to help with setup and tear down, please contact Robert Prince at 972-843-1090, or email him at robert@mygracepointe.com.
